NEET UG 2026 counselling अब अपने बेहद महत्वपूर्ण चरण की ओर बढ़ रही है। MCC Round 3 का Final Allotment Result जारी हो चुका है और Round 3 के candidates की reporting चल रही है। इसके बाद MCC Online Stray Vacancy Round आयोजित करेगा। सबसे बड़ा सवाल यह है कि Round 3 के बाद कौन Stray Vacancy Round में participate कर सकता है और कौन नहीं? MCC NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round क्या है?

MCC UG counselling में चार प्रमुख online rounds हैं—Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 और Stray Vacancy Round। MCC के अनुसार Round 3 के बाद बची हुई AIQ तथा participating institutions की eligible vacant seats को Online Stray Vacancy Round में offer किया जाता है। Deemed Universities की stray vacancy counselling भी MCC online mode में conduct करता है। S3WaaS

इस round में fresh registration और fresh choice filling होगा। इसलिए केवल यह सोचकर बैठना कि आपने पहले MCC में registration किया था और automatically Stray Round में consider हो जाएंगे, सही नहीं है। S3WaaS

MCC Stray Vacancy Round 2026 की Important Dates

MCC की वर्तमान published UG AIQ counselling schedule के अनुसार Stray Vacancy Round का कार्यक्रम इस प्रकार है: S3WaaS

Candidates को MCC website पर revised notice भी check करते रहना चाहिए क्योंकि counselling dates administrative reasons से change हो सकती हैं।

Round 3 के बाद Stray Vacancy Round में कौन Eligible है?

Case 1: Round 1, Round 2 और Round 3 में कोई seat नहीं मिली

यदि candidate MCC counselling में registered था लेकिन Round 1, Round 2 और Round 3 में कोई seat allot नहीं हुई, और उसके पास State counselling की भी कोई allotted/held seat नहीं है, तो वह Stray Vacancy Round में participate कर सकता है।

उसे Stray Round के लिए fresh registration और fresh choices भरनी होंगी। MCC bulletin विशेष रूप से कहता है कि Round 3 में fresh registered candidate को यदि seat नहीं मिलती तो वह Stray Round के लिए eligible है। S3WaaS

Case 2: पहली बार MCC counselling में Stray Round में आना चाहते हैं

MCC ने 2026 bulletin में स्पष्ट किया है कि Final Stray Vacancy Round में fresh registration होगा। इसका मतलब eligible NEET UG candidates Stray Vacancy registration window में registration कर सकते हैं, बशर्ते वे अन्य disqualification conditions में न आते हों। S3WaaS

Case 3: Round 3 में seat allot हुई और आपने JOIN कर लिया

यह सबसे clear case है।

यदि MCC Round 3 में आपको MBBS/BDS/participating UG seat allot हुई और आपने उसे join कर लिया, तो आप उस seat को Round 3 के बाद resign करके Stray Vacancy Round में नहीं जा सकते।

MCC के अनुसार Round 3 joined seat से resignation allowed नहीं है। Candidate किसी joined/held seat के साथ Stray Vacancy Round में eligible नहीं है। S3WaaS

Case 4: Round 3 में seat allot हुई लेकिन REPORT नहीं किया

कई students सोचते हैं कि “seat मिली थी लेकिन join नहीं किया, इसलिए Stray Round में जा सकता हूं।”

यह गलत है।

MCC Information Bulletin साफ कहता है कि यदि candidate को Round 3 में seat allotted हुई लेकिन उसने allotted institute में report नहीं किया, तो वह security deposit forfeiture के साथ counselling से बाहर हो जाएगा और subsequent rounds में eligible नहीं रहेगा। FAQ में भी Round 3 allotted-but-not-reported candidates को Stray Vacancy Round के लिए specifically not eligible बताया गया है। S3WaaS

Case 5: Round 3 में कोई seat allot नहीं हुई

यदि आपने Round 3 में choices भरीं लेकिन कोई seat allot नहीं हुई, तो सिर्फ Round 3 में unsuccessful होने के कारण आप eliminate नहीं होते।

यदि आपके पास Centre/State counselling की कोई joined/held/allotted disqualifying seat नहीं है और आप Stray Round में fresh registration करते हैं, तो आप Stray Vacancy Round के लिए eligible हो सकते हैं। S3WaaS

Case 6: Round 2 में seat मिली थी, Round 3 में upgrade नहीं हुआ और आपने वही seat retain की

Round 2 की seat रखने वाले Float candidate को यदि Round 3 में upgrade नहीं मिलता है तो उसकी पुरानी Round 2 seat बनी रहती है और Round 3 के बाद physical reporting आवश्यक होती है। ऐसे candidate के पास एक held/joined seat है। S3WaaS

इसलिए वह उस seat को रखते हुए MCC Stray Vacancy Round में participate नहीं कर सकता।

Case 7: Round 2 में seat मिली थी लेकिन समय रहते resign किया, Round 3 में seat नहीं मिली

यदि candidate ने permitted period में Round 2 seat से resignation/exit किया, Round 3 में participate किया लेकिन Round 3 में कोई seat नहीं मिली, और अब उसके पास Centre या State में कोई seat नहीं है, तो वह Stray Round में eligible हो सकता है।

हालांकि eligibility MCC के final Centre-State data sharing और registration status के आधार पर तय होगी। S3WaaS

State Counselling की Seat होने पर क्या होगा?

यह Stray Vacancy Round का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण और अक्सर overlooked rule है।

MCC ने कहा है कि Round 3 के बाद Centre और States के बीच data sharing होगी। यदि candidate का नाम Centre या State की allotted candidates list में आता है, तो उसे All India Stray Vacancy Round से eliminate किया जा सकता है। S3WaaS

इसलिए सिर्फ इतना देखना पर्याप्त नहीं है कि “MCC में मेरे पास seat नहीं है।” आपको यह भी देखना होगा कि किसी State counselling में आपका नाम allotted/admitted data में तो नहीं है।

State Round 3 में seat मिली तो क्या MCC Stray में जा सकते हैं?

Safe interpretation यह है कि यदि State counselling में आपके नाम पर seat allotted/admitted status मौजूद है और वह data MCC के साथ share होता है, तो MCC Stray Vacancy processing में आपका नाम weed out किया जा सकता है।

इसलिए candidate को State seat “नहीं join की” मानकर automatically MCC Stray eligible नहीं मान लेना चाहिए। MCC bulletin Centre और State की allotted candidates list के data sharing की बात करता है। S3WaaS

Stray Round में कौन-कौन सी Seats आ सकती हैं?

MCC bulletin के अनुसार Round 3 के बाद vacant रहने वाली eligible AIQ seats और Deemed University seats Stray Vacancy Round में process की जा सकती हैं। Actual colleges और seats की संख्या Stray Vacancy Seat Matrix जारी होने के बाद ही final मानी जानी चाहिए। S3WaaS

इसलिए अभी किसी particular government/deemed college की seat guaranteed मानना सही नहीं होगा।

क्या Stray Round में Seat मिलने के बाद छोड़ सकते हैं?

इस round में choice filling बहुत सोच-समझकर करनी चाहिए।

MCC के अनुसार यदि Stray Vacancy Round में candidate को seat allot होती है, तो उसे allotted college join करना होगा। यदि candidate seat मिलने के बाद join नहीं करता है, तो security deposit forfeited होगा और वह आगे होने वाले counselling rounds, यदि कोई हों, के लिए eligible नहीं रहेगा। S3WaaS

Round 3 और Stray Round में सबसे बड़ा अंतर

Choice Filling Strategy कैसे बनाएं?

Stray Vacancy Round में college list को सिर्फ previous-year cutoff देखकर नहीं भरना चाहिए। Candidate को सबसे पहले यह तय करना चाहिए कि वह Government AIQ seat, Central Institute, Deemed University, BDS या अन्य participating seat में से किन options को वास्तव में accept करेगा।

Reporting के समय Documents

MCC bulletin के अनुसार allotted college में reporting के समय सामान्यतः निम्न original documents तथा required photocopies की आवश्यकता पड़ती है: MCC Allotment Letter, NEET Admit Card, NEET Result/Rank Letter, Date of Birth proof, Class 10 certificate, Class 12 certificate और marksheet, passport-size photographs, valid identity proof तथा applicable SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD/NRI/OCI documents। College-specific additional documents भी मांगे जा सकते हैं। S3WaaS

Student A: तीनों MCC rounds में registered रहा लेकिन कोई seat नहीं मिली और State में भी seat नहीं है।

Student B: Round 3 में MBBS seat मिली और उसने college join कर लिया।

Student C: Round 3 में MBBS seat मिली लेकिन college पसंद नहीं आया इसलिए report नहीं किया।
