West Bengal NEET UG 2026 counselling अब एक महत्वपूर्ण चरण में पहुंच चुकी है। West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) ने UG Medical & Dental counselling के लिए 17 September 2026 को नया schedule जारी किया है, जबकि Round 2 result भी प्रकाशित हो चुका है।
अब उन NEET UG candidates का ध्यान Round 3 counselling पर है जिन्हें अभी तक MBBS/BDS seat नहीं मिली, जिन्हें अपनी उपलब्ध seat से बेहतर option तलाशना है, या जो counselling rules के अनुसार Round 3 में participate करने के eligible हैं।
इस article में हम West Bengal NEET UG 2026 Round 3 की registration, eligibility, choice filling, seat matrix, allotment, reporting, Government/Private MBBS-BDS seats और counselling strategy को विस्तार से समझेंगे।
West Bengal NEET UG Counselling 2026 कौन Conduct करता है?
West Bengal में state-level MBBS और BDS counselling West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) द्वारा आयोजित की जाती है।
Official WBMCC information के अनुसार Government Medical और Dental Colleges की 85% State Quota seats state online counselling के माध्यम से allot होती हैं। Private Medical/Dental institutions की applicable State Quota और Management Quota seats भी WBMCC counselling में आती हैं; private medical colleges में NRI quota भी शामिल है।
Counselling का आधार NEET UG 2026 qualification और applicable eligibility conditions हैं।
West Bengal NEET UG 2026 Latest Status
18 September 2026 तक WBMCC के official portal पर:
Round 2 Result Published दिख रहा है और “WB UG Medical & Dental Schedule dated 17-09-2026 published” latest news में listed है।
Official eServices/Schedule listing भी Schedule dated 17-09-2026 को 2026 schedule के रूप में दिखाती है।
इसलिए अब candidates को पुराने schedule की बजाय latest WBMCC schedule को प्राथमिकता देनी चाहिए।
West Bengal NEET UG 2026 Round 3 क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है?
Round 1 और Round 2 के बाद counselling dynamics बदल सकती हैं। कुछ candidates को दूसरे counselling system में seat मिल सकती है, कुछ upgrade कर सकते हैं और कुछ seats विभिन्न कारणों से आगे के round के लिए available हो सकती हैं।
इस कारण Round 3 को केवल “बची हुई seats का round” समझना सही approach नहीं है।
Candidate को Round 3 से पहले मुख्य रूप से चार चीजें देखनी चाहिए:
अपनी eligibility + latest seat matrix + अपनी NEET AIR/category + college/fee preference.
यही combination practical choice filling तैयार करने में मदद करता है।
Round 3 में कौन Participate कर सकता है?
यह सबसे महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्नों में से एक है।
Round 3 participation candidate की previous counselling status पर निर्भर कर सकती है—जैसे पहले registration किया या नहीं, previous allotment मिला या नहीं, allotted seat join की या नहीं, और applicable counselling rules क्या कहते हैं।
इसलिए सभी candidates के लिए एक ही eligibility rule assume नहीं करना चाहिए।

Round 3 Registration
जिन candidates के लिए fresh registration permitted/required है, उन्हें निर्धारित window के अंदर WBMCC portal से registration complete करना होगा।
Registration करते समय candidate को अपना NEET UG और personal data बहुत सावधानी से भरना चाहिए।
Name, NEET Roll Number, category, domicile status या अन्य information में गलती आगे document verification या admission के समय problem पैदा कर सकती है।
Last date का इंतजार न करें। Payment failure, server load या document-related issue के कारण candidate महत्वपूर्ण deadline miss कर सकता है।
Registration Fee Payment
जहाँ applicable हो, registration के बाद prescribed counselling fee/payment complete करना जरूरी होता है।
सिर्फ registration form भर देने को complete participation न मानें। Candidate को payment status और final registration status भी check करना चाहिए।
Payment receipt और acknowledgement की copy सुरक्षित रखें।
Document Verification
Counselling process में candidate की eligibility supporting documents के आधार पर verify की जाती है।
WBMCC portal पर candidates के लिए Domicile Proforma, Medical Certificate और EWS Proforma जैसे important formats उपलब्ध हैं।
Candidates को applicable documents पहले से तैयार रखने चाहिए, जैसे:
- NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
- NEET UG Score/Rank Card
- Class 10 certificate
- Class 12 certificate/marksheet
- Valid photo ID
- Passport-size photographs
- Domicile-related documents, जहाँ applicable हों

Round 3 Seat Matrix क्यों जरूरी है?
Choice filling शुरू करने से पहले Round 3 Seat Matrix देखना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
Seat matrix से candidate समझ सकता है कि उस round में किस college, course, category और quota में कितनी seats counselling के लिए उपलब्ध दिखाई जा रही हैं।
Previous year cutoff देखकर ऐसे college की choice भरना जिसका relevant quota/category seat matrix में उपलब्ध ही नहीं है, practical strategy नहीं होगी।
इसलिए sequence होना चाहिए:
Seat Matrix → Eligibility → Fees/Budget → Previous Cutoff → Choice Filling
न कि सिर्फ:
Previous Cutoff → Choice Filling
West Bengal Government MBBS Seats
Government Medical Colleges में MBBS admission के लिए competition सामान्यतः काफी अधिक रहता है।
WBMCC official information के अनुसार Government Medical/Dental colleges की 85% State Quota UG seats state counselling के माध्यम से allot की जाती हैं।
Candidate को Government MBBS choice filling में सिर्फ previous closing AIR नहीं देखना चाहिए।
Category, quota, available seats, current round और candidate preference भी महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
Private Medical Colleges: State Quota, Management और NRI
West Bengal counselling का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा private medical colleges भी हैं।
WBMCC के अनुसार Private Medical Colleges में applicable State Quota, Management Quota और NRI Quota seats counselling framework का हिस्सा हैं।
यहाँ candidate को विशेष रूप से fees और quota समझकर choice भरनी चाहिए।
एक ही medical college में अलग quota की financial liability अलग हो सकती है।
इसलिए केवल college name देखकर choice भरना सही नहीं है।
Private Medical College Fee पहले Check करें
WBMCC ने 2026 के लिए Private Medical and Dental Colleges Fee Structure को official Notice & Events section में प्रकाशित किया है।
यह low/medium-budget candidates के लिए खास तौर पर महत्वपूर्ण है।
किसी college को high preference देने से पहले candidate को tuition fee के साथ hostel, security deposit, miscellaneous charges और applicable bond/conditions भी verify करनी चाहिए।

BDS को Backup के रूप में कैसे देखें?
हर candidate का career objective अलग होता है। यदि primary target MBBS है, तो BDS को automatically अच्छा या खराब backup नहीं माना जाना चाहिए।
Candidate को अपनी career preference, budget, college quality और future plan के आधार पर निर्णय लेना चाहिए।
यदि candidate BDS करने के लिए वास्तव में तैयार नहीं है, तो सिर्फ “seat मिल सकती है” सोचकर उसे ऊपर की preference में रखना उचित नहीं होगा।
Round 3 Choice Filling कैसे करें?
यह Round 3 का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण practical हिस्सा है।
Choice filling को तीन broad groups में plan किया जा सकता है:
Aspirational Choices: वे colleges जिन्हें candidate सबसे ज्यादा चाहता है लेकिन previous trends के अनुसार admission comparatively difficult दिखाई देता है।
Realistic Choices: वे options जहाँ candidate की AIR/category और historical trends comparatively closer दिखाई देते हैं।
Alternative Choices: वे colleges जिन्हें candidate आवश्यकता पड़ने पर वास्तव में join करने को तैयार है।
लेकिन final choice order admission probability के क्रम में नहीं, बल्कि आपकी वास्तविक preference के क्रम में होना चाहिए।
यदि College A आपको College B से ज्यादा पसंद है, तो केवल इस डर से A को नीचे न रखें कि उसका cutoff ज्यादा जाता है।
Choice Filling में ये गलतियाँ न करें
Candidate अक्सर counselling में कुछ common mistakes करते हैं:
- केवल previous-year cutoff देखकर choices भरना।
- बहुत कम colleges select करना।
- Fee check किए बिना private college select करना।
- Quota को समझे बिना college select करना।
- Choice order गलत रखना।
- Seat matrix नहीं देखना।
- Last moment पर choice filling करना।
- Choice locking/final submission status check नहीं करना।
- Social-media cutoff को official data मान लेना।
- ऐसी seat को preference देना जिसे allot होने पर candidate join ही नहीं करेगा।
Round 3 में इन mistakes की कीमत अधिक हो सकती है क्योंकि आगे available opportunities सीमित होती जाती हैं।
Previous Cutoff का सही उपयोग कैसे करें?
Previous cutoff useful है, लेकिन वह prediction guarantee नहीं है।
उदाहरण के लिए किसी college का previous Round 2 closing AIR 80,000 रहा हो, तो इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि Round 3 भी exactly 80,000 पर बंद होगा।
Closing rank vacancy, candidate movement, category, quota और choice pattern के कारण ऊपर या नीचे जा सकता है।
इसलिए cutoff को trend indicator के रूप में इस्तेमाल करें, guarantee के रूप में नहीं।
Low Score / Higher AIR Candidates क्या करें?
Higher AIR वाले candidates को counselling जल्दी छोड़ने के बजाय available options का systematic analysis करना चाहिए।
इन factors को साथ देखें:
AIR + Category + Domicile + Budget + Quota + Course Preference + Seat Matrix + Previous Closing Rank
यदि Government MBBS की संभावना previous trends के आधार पर कम दिखाई देती है, तो candidate अपने budget और eligibility के अनुसार Private State Quota, Management Quota या BDS options explore कर सकता है।
लेकिन किसी भी seat को “guaranteed” नहीं माना जाना चाहिए।
Round 3 Allotment Result आने के बाद क्या करें?
यदि candidate को seat allot होती है तो सबसे पहले:
College Name, Course, Quota और Allotment Status check करें।
इसके बाद applicable reporting instructions पढ़ें।
Reporting के लिए original documents, prescribed fees, allotment documents और applicable bond/undertaking आदि तैयार रखें।
किसी भी deadline को केवल screenshot या social-media post के आधार पर follow न करें—official schedule देखें।
Reporting के समय Original Documents
Allotted candidate को reporting के समय applicable original documents की आवश्यकता हो सकती है।
Original documents के साथ photocopies और digital scans भी सुरक्षित रखना practical है।
College fee payment के लिए accepted payment method भी पहले verify करें।
Round 3 में Seat नहीं मिले तो?
Round 3 में seat नहीं मिलने पर candidate को अगले available counselling stage की eligibility और vacancy position check करनी चाहिए।
आगे का round हर candidate के लिए automatically available होगा, ऐसा assume न करें।
WBMCC द्वारा प्रकाशित current rules और eligible-candidate conditions देखना जरूरी है।
Stray Vacancy Round क्या है?
Counselling के regular rounds के बाद यदि eligible vacant seats रहती हैं तो applicable counselling framework के अनुसार stray vacancy stage हो सकता है।
Stray Vacancy को “easy admission round” समझना गलत होगा।
Seats कम हो सकती हैं और candidate options भी limited हो सकते हैं।
इसलिए Round 3 में अच्छी planning करना अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है।
West Bengal NEET UG 2026 में कौन-कौन से Quota महत्वपूर्ण हैं?
Broadly candidate को निम्न distinction समझना चाहिए:
Government Medical/Dental: State Quota
Private Medical: State Quota + Management Quota + NRI Quota जहाँ applicable
Private Dental: State Quota + Management Quota

State Quota और MCC AIQ में Confusion न करें
West Bengal State Counselling और MCC counselling अलग processes हैं।
Candidate यदि दोनों में participate कर रहा है, तो उसे दोनों authorities की dates, allotment status और joining/resignation rules ध्यान से track करने चाहिए।
एक counselling system में decision का दूसरे counselling process पर practical impact हो सकता है, इसलिए किसी seat को surrender/join करने से पहले applicable rules पढ़ें।
