NEET UG 2026 Round 2 की Dates आ गईं? Low Score है तो Choice Filling से पहले ये College List तैयार करें
NEET UG 2026 counselling का Round 1 अब उस stage पर पहुंच चुका है जहां हजारों students और parents की नजर अगले round पर है। किसी candidate को Round 1 में MBBS seat नहीं मिली, किसी को college मिला लेकिन पसंद नहीं आया, किसी का allotted college budget से बाहर है और कई low-score candidates अब Private Medical Colleges, Deemed Universities और अन्य applicable counselling options तलाश रहे हैं।
ऐसे candidates के लिए अगला बड़ा सवाल है—Round 2 में क्या अलग किया जाए ताकि college selection और choice filling पहले से बेहतर हो?
लेकिन सबसे पहले एक महत्वपूर्ण clarification जरूरी है।
28 August 2026 को MCC की official website की वर्तमान listings check करने पर Round 2 का नया revised schedule अभी दिखाई नहीं दे रहा है। MCC की UG Medical page पर इस समय Round 1 Final Result और reporting instructions latest news में हैं, जबकि schedule section में 19–20 August के revised Round 1 documents listed हैं। इसलिए “3 September से Round 2 Registration शुरू” को अभी नया officially confirmed MCC update बताकर publish करना उचित नहीं होगा।
MCC के archive में 1 August 2026 का AIQ/State counselling schedule मौजूद है, लेकिन counselling schedule में revisions होते रहे हैं। इसलिए Round 2 की exact dates के लिए latest MCC notice को final authority मानें।
इसीलिए इस article का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण message है: Round 2 की exact dates का इंतजार करते हुए अपनी college list तैयार करना शुरू कर दें।
NEET UG 2026 Round 2 इतना महत्वपूर्ण क्यों है?
Round 1 के बाद candidate के पास counselling को लेकर ज्यादा real-world information होती है।
अब आपको केवल अनुमान नहीं लगाना है। आपको पता है कि आपकी NEET rank क्या है, Round 1 में क्या allot हुआ, किन colleges तक आपकी preference पहुंची और आपका budget वास्तव में किन options को allow करता है।
यही वह समय है जब Round 2 के लिए पूरी strategy को दोबारा evaluate करना चाहिए।
Round 1 में seat नहीं मिलने का अर्थ यह नहीं कि Round 2 में भी कोई possibility नहीं होगी। उसी तरह Round 1 में seat मिल जाने का अर्थ यह भी नहीं कि आपको बिना analysis के उसी college को अंतिम choice मान लेना चाहिए।
हर candidate की situation अलग है।
Round 1 में MBBS नहीं मिला? सबसे पहले अपनी गलती खोजें
Round 2 की choice filling शुरू होने से पहले अपनी Round 1 strategy का audit करें।
खुद से कुछ सवाल पूछें।
क्या आपने बहुत कम colleges भरे थे?
क्या आपकी list में केवल top Government Medical Colleges थे?
क्या आपने अपनी NEET rank से काफी ऊपर closing-rank trend वाले colleges को ही target किया?
क्या Private Medical Colleges को सिर्फ इसलिए छोड़ दिया क्योंकि आपने उनकी fees पहले check नहीं की?
क्या आपने Deemed Universities को समझे बिना पूरी तरह ignore कर दिया?
क्या आपने colleges का सही preference order नहीं बनाया?
क्या budget पहले तय नहीं किया था?
अगर इन सवालों में से कुछ का जवाब “हाँ” है, तो Round 2 में केवल वही पुरानी choice list दोहराना सही strategy नहीं होगी।
Low Score Candidates को Round 2 से पहले क्या करना चाहिए?
Low NEET score वाले candidates के लिए Round 2 का मतलब सिर्फ यह उम्मीद करना नहीं होना चाहिए कि “cutoff गिर जाएगा।”
यह सबसे common counselling mistakes में से एक है।
Cutoff movement कई factors पर निर्भर करता है। इसलिए सिर्फ marks देखकर यह मान लेना कि अगले round में किसी particular college में admission निश्चित हो जाएगा, risky हो सकता है।
Low-score candidates को सबसे पहले अपनी NEET All India Rank, category, eligible quota, budget और state eligibility के आधार पर options identify करने चाहिए।
इसके बाद colleges को probability के हिसाब से divide करना उपयोगी हो सकता है।
यही Round 2 college list बनाने का practical तरीका है।
Round 2 से पहले 3 प्रकार की College List बनाएं
एक लंबी random list बनाने की बजाय colleges को तीन broad categories में divide किया जा सकता है।
1. Ambitious Colleges
ये वे colleges हैं जो आपकी पहली preference हो सकते हैं, लेकिन previous counselling trends के हिसाब से आपकी rank पर comparatively difficult दिखाई देते हैं।
इन colleges को सिर्फ इसलिए list से हटाना जरूरी नहीं कि पिछले साल cutoff आपकी rank से बेहतर था।
लेकिन पूरी choice list इन्हीं colleges से भर देना भी उचित नहीं है।
इन्हें ambitious options मानें।
2. Possible Colleges
यह Round 2 strategy का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण group है।
ऐसे colleges identify करें जहां previous trends, category, quota और आपकी current rank को देखते हुए comparatively realistic possibility बनती दिखाई देती है।
इसमें Government, Private या Deemed options candidate की eligibility और budget के अनुसार अलग-अलग हो सकते हैं।
3. Safer Options
ऐसे colleges जहां historical trend और आपकी eligibility के आधार पर comparatively stronger possibility दिखाई देती है, उन्हें safer bucket में रखा जा सकता है।
लेकिन याद रखें—NEET counselling में कोई historical cutoff future allotment की guarantee नहीं है।
“Safe” का मतलब guaranteed seat नहीं होता।
इसका अर्थ केवल comparatively stronger probability है।
College List Marks से नहीं, Rank से बनाएं
Students की एक बड़ी गलती है कि वे Google पर search करते हैं:
“400 marks में कौन सा MBBS college मिलेगा?”
“350 marks में private MBBS मिलेगा?”
“500 marks में government college मिलेगा?”
ऐसे searches initial idea देने के लिए useful हो सकते हैं, लेकिन final choice filling केवल marks पर आधारित नहीं होनी चाहिए।
Counselling में NEET rank, category, quota, seat availability और candidate eligibility महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं।

Budget पहले तय करें, College बाद में चुनें

लेकिन अगर पूरे MBBS course का financial commitment family के लिए practical नहीं है, तो उस college को blindly preference देना सही नहीं होगा।
College shortlist करते समय applicable costs को official sources से verify करें।
इनमें tuition fee के साथ hostel, security deposit और अन्य institutional charges शामिल हो सकते हैं।
इसलिए Round 2 से पहले parents को एक स्पष्ट budget range तय करनी चाहिए।

इन दोनों को अलग रखें।
इससे counselling के दौरान emotional decision कम होंगे।
Private Medical Colleges को कैसे Shortlist करें?
Private MBBS college selection में केवल college का नाम या social-media popularity नहीं देखनी चाहिए।
कुछ practical parameters देखें:
College का hospital कैसा है?
Patient load कैसा दिखाई देता है?
Clinical exposure की संभावना कैसी है?
Location आपके लिए suitable है?
Hostel और campus facilities कैसी हैं?
College की official recognition/status क्या है?
Applicable fee structure क्या है?
कोई applicable bond/service condition है?
और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण—
आपकी NEET rank पर उस college की realistic counselling possibility क्या है?
इन factors को combine करके ही preference order बनाना चाहिए।
Deemed University कब Consider करें?
Deemed Universities MCC counselling के महत्वपूर्ण options में शामिल हो सकती हैं। MCC UG counselling AIQ seats के साथ participating Central Universities, ESIC-related seats और Deemed Universities सहित specified categories की counselling conduct करता है। Candidates को current MCC information bulletin और participating-institute details देखनी चाहिए।
Deemed option consider करने से पहले सबसे महत्वपूर्ण factor budget है।
सिर्फ यह देखकर कि NEET rank पर admission possibility बन सकती है, decision नहीं लेना चाहिए।
College-wise fees और total financial commitment पहले verify करें।
अगर budget allow करता है, तो Round 2 college list में suitable deemed institutions को preference के अनुसार शामिल किया जा सकता है।
Management Quota को सही तरीके से समझें
“Management Quota” NEET counselling के दौरान सबसे ज्यादा searched terms में से एक होता है।
Low-score candidates अक्सर search करते हैं:
Low score MBBS admission
Management quota MBBS admission
Private MBBS low score
NEET management quota college
लेकिन यहां बहुत सावधानी जरूरी है।
Management/private category का मतलब NEET और applicable authorized admission process को bypass करके guaranteed MBBS admission नहीं है।
Candidate को applicable eligibility और संबंधित counselling/admission rules का पालन करना होगा।
इसलिए किसी भी व्यक्ति या agency द्वारा “NEET counselling के बिना guaranteed MBBS seat” जैसे claims से सावधान रहें।

Round 2 Choice Filling में Preference Order कैसे बनाएं?
मान लीजिए आपने 30 colleges shortlist किए।
अब सबसे महत्वपूर्ण सवाल है—
इन 30 colleges का order क्या हो?
Choice filling में preference का अर्थ सिर्फ यह नहीं कि कौन सा college मिलने की probability ज्यादा है।
आपको यह भी तय करना है कि अगर दो colleges उपलब्ध हों तो आप वास्तव में किसे prefer करेंगे।
इसलिए preference list आपकी वास्तविक पसंद को reflect करनी चाहिए।
उदाहरण के तौर पर candidate पहले अपने सबसे preferred ambitious colleges रख सकता है, फिर strong possible choices और उसके बाद acceptable safer options।
लेकिन यह केवल conceptual framework है।
Actual order candidate की individual preference और applicable counselling rules के अनुसार बनाया जाना चाहिए।
सिर्फ पिछले साल के Cutoff को Copy न करें
Previous-year closing rank बहुत useful data point है।
लेकिन वही final answer नहीं है।
Seat matrix बदल सकती है।
Candidate preferences बदल सकती हैं।
Category-wise movement अलग हो सकता है।
नए colleges या seats जुड़ सकती हैं।
कुछ seats की availability round-to-round बदल सकती है।
इसलिए 2025 में किसी college का closing rank X था, इसका मतलब यह नहीं कि 2026 Round 2 में exactly उसी rank पर college बंद होगा।
Historical cutoff को reference point की तरह use करें, guarantee की तरह नहीं।
Round 1 में Seat मिली है तो क्या Round 2 में बेहतर College Try करें?
यह situation अलग analysis मांगती है।
अगर आपको Round 1 में MBBS seat मिल चुकी है लेकिन college पसंद नहीं है, तो सबसे पहले current college को evaluate करें।
College खराब क्यों लग रहा है?
Fees ज्यादा है?
Location पसंद नहीं?
Hospital exposure को लेकर concern है?
आपको लगता है आपकी rank पर बेहतर option उपलब्ध हो सकता है?
या सिर्फ किसी दूसरे student को बेहतर college मिला इसलिए आप upgrade चाहते हैं?
इन कारणों में फर्क है।
इसके बाद current allotted college को Round 2 के संभावित options से compare करें।
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात: existing seat छोड़ने, resign करने, retain करने या upgradation से संबंधित कोई कदम current MCC/concerned counselling authority के official rules पढ़े बिना न उठाएं।
MCC खुद Round 1 final-result candidates को reporting से पहले Information Bulletin का relevant chapter ध्यान से पढ़ने की सलाह दे रहा है।
Round 1 में Seat नहीं मिली तो Panic क्यों नहीं करना चाहिए?
“No Allotment” देखकर कई candidates अपनी strategy ही छोड़ देते हैं।
यह जरूरी नहीं कि सही approach हो।
इसके बजाय Round 1 result को एक data point की तरह देखें।
अगर आपकी highest realistic choice से भी काफी पहले allotment बंद हो गया, तो Round 2 list को broaden करने की जरूरत हो सकती है।
अगर difference कम है, तो उस range के colleges को carefully track किया जा सकता है।
अगर Government MBBS की possibility बहुत weak दिखाई दे रही है और budget private options allow करता है, तो Private/Deemed alternatives analyse किए जा सकते हैं।
Goal केवल उम्मीद बनाए रखना नहीं है।
Goal है realistic counselling strategy बनाना।
State Counselling को Ignore न करें
MCC counselling और State counselling को एक ही चीज न समझें।
State counselling authorities के अपने schedules, eligibility rules, fee/security requirements और procedures हो सकते हैं।
इसलिए Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra या किसी दूसरे state के candidate को संबंधित official counselling authority की notices भी monitor करनी चाहिए।
MCC की तारीख देखकर automatically यह assume न करें कि वही exact date हर state counselling पर लागू होगी।
Round 2 से पहले Documents भी Ready रखें
College list बनाना जरूरी है, लेकिन documents को last moment तक छोड़ना सही नहीं है।
Candidate को अपनी counselling category और authority के अनुसार required documents की official checklist verify करनी चाहिए।
NEET scorecard/admit-card related documents, educational certificates, identity documents, category/EWS/PwBD/NRI-related documents जहां applicable हों, और counselling authority द्वारा मांगे गए अन्य certificates समय रहते तैयार रखें।
किसी generic internet checklist को final list न मानें।
Official counselling bulletin/notice को प्राथमिकता दें।
Choice Locking Last Minute पर न छोड़ें
Round 2 में सबसे खराब strategy हो सकती है कि candidate deadline के आखिरी कुछ घंटों में college research शुरू करे।
जब portal open हो, तब तक आपकी basic college list ideally तैयार होनी चाहिए।
आपको पहले से पता होना चाहिए:
मेरे Dream options कौन से हैं?
Possible options कौन से हैं?
Safer alternatives कौन से हैं?
Maximum budget क्या है?
किन colleges को मैं किसी भी स्थिति में नहीं लेना चाहता?
अगर कोई particular college allot हो गया तो क्या मैं वास्तव में join करूंगा?
इन सवालों के जवाब पहले से होने पर choice filling बहुत आसान हो जाती है।
Parents को Round 2 में क्या करना चाहिए?
Parents का role सिर्फ fees arrange करना नहीं है।
MBBS admission family का long-term financial और educational decision है।
Parents को candidate के साथ बैठकर तीन चीजें तय करनी चाहिए:
Budget
Location flexibility
College preference
अगर student पूरे India में जाने के लिए तैयार है लेकिन parents केवल home state चाहते हैं, तो choice filling से पहले यह conflict clear होना चाहिए।
इसी तरह अगर family maximum budget ₹X तक ही manage कर सकती है, तो उससे काफी ऊपर के colleges को बिना financial planning के preference देना practical नहीं होगा।
