NEET UG 2026 counselling का Round 1 अब उस stage पर पहुंच चुका है जहां हजारों students के सामने सबसे बड़ा सवाल है—अगर Round 1 में MBBS seat नहीं मिली, पसंद का medical college नहीं मिला, या allotted college से संतुष्ट नहीं हैं, तो अब क्या करें?

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) ने NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 का provisional result जारी कर दिया है। MCC के Current Events page पर “Provisional Result for UG Counselling Round 1 – 21.08.2026” उपलब्ध है।

Revised schedule के अनुसार Round 1 seat allotment result की तारीख 21 August 2026 की गई थी और allotted candidates के लिए reporting/joining period 22 August से 31 August 2026 रखा गया है।

ऐसे में जिन students को Round 1 में seat नहीं मिली है, उनके लिए counselling खत्म नहीं हुई है। बल्कि अब सही Round 2 strategy, college selection और choice filling और भी महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है।

NEET UG 2026 Round 1 के बाद सबसे पहले क्या करें?

सबसे पहले अपनी Round 1 स्थिति को स्पष्ट रूप से समझें। आम तौर पर students तीन परिस्थितियों में होंगे:

स्थिति 1: कोई seat allot नहीं हुई

अगर Round 1 में कोई MBBS/BDS seat allot नहीं हुई है तो निराश होकर counselling छोड़ना सही strategy नहीं है। आगे के rounds में seat movement हो सकती है। इसलिए Round 2 के लिए उपलब्ध choices और applicable counselling rules को ध्यान से देखें।

स्थिति 2: Seat मिली है लेकिन college पसंद नहीं है

अगर seat allot हुई है लेकिन वह आपकी higher preference नहीं है, तो upgradation के applicable options को समझना जरूरी है। Round 1 allotment के बाद higher-preference college/course चाहने वाले candidates applicable MCC rules के अनुसार upgradation का विकल्प देख सकते हैं।

NEET UG 2026 Round 2 क्यों महत्वपूर्ण है?

Round 2 को केवल “दूसरा मौका” समझना गलती हो सकती है।

Round 1 के बाद counselling landscape बदल सकता है। कुछ candidates अपनी allotted seat join नहीं करते, कुछ दूसरी counselling से बेहतर seat लेते हैं, कुछ upgrade करते हैं और कुछ उपलब्ध विकल्पों से बाहर हो जाते हैं।

Round 1 में MBBS नहीं मिला तो क्या Round 2 में मिल सकता है?

हां, संभव है।

लेकिन यह आपके NEET AIR, category, domicile/state eligibility, available seats, quota, budget और choice filling strategy पर निर्भर करेगा।

किसी candidate को सिर्फ उसके marks देखकर यह कहना कि “आपको MBBS जरूर मिलेगा” या “बिल्कुल नहीं मिलेगा” सही counselling approach नहीं है।

उदाहरण के लिए, एक ही NEET score वाले दो candidates के admission options अलग हो सकते हैं क्योंकि:

• उनकी category अलग हो सकती है

• domicile अलग हो सकता है

Low Score Students के लिए Round 2 Strategy

Low score का अर्थ automatically यह नहीं है कि आपके पास कोई option नहीं बचा।

लेकिन low-score candidate को unrealistic college list बनाने से बचना चाहिए।

सबसे पहले उपलब्ध options को तीन broad groups में बांटना उपयोगी हो सकता है:

1. Ambitious Choices

वे colleges जिनका recent closing trend आपकी rank से काफी बेहतर रहा है।

इन colleges को ऊपर रखा जा सकता है अगर आप उन्हें genuinely prefer करते हैं, लेकिन पूरी list सिर्फ इन्हीं colleges से नहीं भरनी चाहिए।

2. Possible Choices

वे colleges जहां previous allotment trends, category, quota और current seat situation को देखते हुए comparatively realistic possibility दिखाई देती है।

Round 2 strategy का बड़ा हिस्सा इसी range पर केंद्रित होना चाहिए।

3. Backup Choices

ऐसे acceptable colleges जिन्हें जरूरत पड़ने पर आप वास्तव में join करने के लिए तैयार हैं।

Backup का अर्थ खराब college नहीं है। इसका अर्थ है ऐसा realistic विकल्प जो आपके budget, location, course और अन्य priorities के भीतर आता हो।

Choice Filling में सबसे बड़ी गलती: केवल Cutoff देखकर College भरना

बहुत से students counselling में यही करते हैं:

“पिछले साल इस college का cutoff मेरी rank के आसपास था, इसलिए इसे भर देता हूं।”

लेकिन केवल previous-year cutoff पर्याप्त नहीं है।

College selection करते समय कम से कम इन factors को साथ देखना चाहिए:

NEET Rank: Marks की तुलना में counselling में AIR/rank analysis अधिक उपयोगी हो सकता है।

Category: General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST या अन्य applicable category के closing trends अलग हो सकते हैं।

Quota: AIQ, State Quota, Deemed University, Central University और अन्य applicable quota को mix करके analysis करना misleading हो सकता है।

Fees: Private और deemed medical colleges की total financial commitment को admission से पहले समझना बहुत जरूरी है।

Bond/Service Conditions: State और institution-specific conditions अलग हो सकती हैं।

Location: College केवल नाम देखकर नहीं चुनें। Travel connectivity, clinical exposure, hostel और practical living conditions भी देखें।

Recognition/Official Status: किसी भी medical college को preference देने से पहले संबंधित official information verify करें।

NEET Round 2 Choice Filling कैसे करें?

Choice filling का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण principle है:

College को उसी preference order में रखें जिस order में आप वास्तव में उन्हें लेना चाहते हैं।

सिर्फ इस डर से किसी पसंदीदा college को नीचे न रखें कि उसका cutoff high है।

मान लीजिए आपकी preference है:

College A > College B > College C > College D

तो choices भी इसी वास्तविक preference के अनुसार arrange की जानी चाहिए, subject to applicable counselling rules.

लेकिन साथ ही list पर्याप्त broad होनी चाहिए।

केवल Top Government Medical Colleges भरना सही है?

अगर आपकी AIR top government colleges की recent closing range से काफी दूर है और आपने केवल वही 10–15 colleges भर दिए, तो आप potentially उपलब्ध दूसरे विकल्पों को miss कर सकते हैं।

इसलिए college list बनाते समय aspiration और probability दोनों का balance रखें।

एक practical structure हो सकता है:

Dream Colleges → Competitive Colleges → Realistic Colleges → Backup Colleges

Round 1 Cutoff को Round 2 में कैसे Use करें?

Round 1 result Round 2 strategy के लिए महत्वपूर्ण data point है।

इस data से आप समझ सकते हैं:

लेकिन केवल “MBBS मिल रहा है” देखकर private college select करना उचित नहीं है।

₹10–20 लाख का difference पूरे course में परिवार की financial planning पर बड़ा प्रभाव डाल सकता है।

Deemed University किसके लिए Useful हो सकती है?

Deemed universities उन candidates के लिए additional option हो सकती हैं जिनका budget comparatively higher है और जो all-India level पर options explore करना चाहते हैं।

लेकिन deemed college selection में भी केवल cutoff नहीं देखना चाहिए।

Fees, hospital exposure, location, academics, hostel और total cost को compare करें।

Low-score candidates को खास तौर पर यह समझना चाहिए कि lower cutoff का अर्थ necessarily low total cost नहीं होता।

State Counselling को Ignore न करें

कई students केवल MCC counselling पर ध्यान देते हैं जबकि उनके लिए state counselling में महत्वपूर्ण opportunities हो सकती हैं।

State counselling के नियम अलग-अलग होते हैं।

Domicile, schooling, category, private college eligibility, minority/institutional conditions और security deposit जैसी requirements state-specific हो सकती हैं।

क्या दूसरे State के Private Medical College में Admission मिल सकता है?

कुछ states में non-domicile candidates के लिए private medical college की कुछ categories उपलब्ध हो सकती हैं, जबकि दूसरे states में restrictions अलग हो सकती हैं।

इसलिए यह मान लेना कि “मैं किसी भी state के किसी भी private medical college में admission ले सकता हूं” सही नहीं है।

Round 2 में College Selection के 7 महत्वपूर्ण Rules

Rule 1: Marks से ज्यादा Rank पर focus करें

Counselling analysis में AIR और category/quota-specific rank trends महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं।

Rule 2: Latest Round 1 data देखें

2026 Round 1 allotment आपके लिए सबसे recent reference point है।

Rule 3: केवल पिछले साल पर निर्भर न रहें

अगर seat मिली है तो सिर्फ Round 2 के बारे में सोचते हुए current reporting requirements को miss न करें।

“अब जहां MBBS मिले वही भर दो।”

MBBS एक लंबा professional course है। इसलिए college select करते समय सिर्फ admission मिलने की संभावना नहीं बल्कि fees + college quality + clinical exposure + location + affordability भी देखनी चाहिए।

NEET UG 2026 Round 2 के लिए Practical Strategy

Round 2 शुरू होने से पहले अपनी complete profile तैयार करें:

NEET AIR + Category + Domicile + Budget + Preferred States + Govt/Private/Deemed Preference

इसके बाद colleges को तीन categories में classify करें:

High Competition

जहां admission probability comparatively low है लेकिन college आपकी strong preference है।

Realistic

जहां current data और previous trends के आधार पर reasonable possibility दिखाई देती है।

Backup

जहां probability comparatively बेहतर है और college आपकी acceptable list में है।

क्या Round 2 में Cutoff नीचे जा सकता है?

कुछ colleges/categories में closing rank आगे जा सकती है, जबकि कुछ में competition बढ़ भी सकता है।

इसे universal rule नहीं माना जा सकता।

इसलिए “Round 2 में cutoff हमेशा नीचे जाता है” जैसी बातों पर blindly भरोसा न करें।
