NEET 2025 Counselling in UP: When and How to Apply for MBBS/BDS ?

UP MBBS/BDS Counselling 2025: The tentative date of NEET UG counselling 2025 for admission in MBBS, BDS in Uttar Pradesh has arrived. Through this, admissions will be done on 85% seats of government medical colleges of UP and 100% seats of private medical colleges.

UP Medical Admission 2025 Counselling Update: On the basis of the merit list of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG 2025), admission will be done on 85% of the state quota seats in government medical institutions i.e. government medical colleges of UP. Whereas admissions are to be done on 100% seats of private medical colleges and minority colleges of UP. UP NEET Counseling 2025 is expected to start from July 1 for admission in MBBS and BDS in Uttar Pradesh.

For this, as per the guidelines issued by the government, an officer nominated by the Director General level of the Department of Medical Education and Training will prepare the state merit list with the help of National Informatics Center (NIC). After this, all the process from online registration of counseling to data capture, photo uploads and fee payment will be done through NIC.

When is UP NEET Counseling 2025 Schedule?

The Directorate General of Health has sent a letter to the government for the formation of a committee. The committee is to include officials of KGMU and Lohia Institute as well as the Directorate General and representatives of the government. The counseling schedule will be released after the formation of the committee.

After the UP Medical Admission 2025 counseling schedule is decided, the process of forming a board for MBBS and BDS admissions has started. The board to be constituted under the chairmanship of the DG of Directorate General of Medical Education will have these members-

Special Secretary level officer nominated by the Principal of Medical College (one each from SC, OBC and Minority category)
3 teachers associated with medical education
One representative of private sector medical college
Representative of NIC

(The names of all the members are to be decided at the government level.)

MBBS Admission UP: 20 centers for document verification

For counseling of dental and MBBS admission, the documents of the candidates will be verified at 20 centers in UP. Apart from KGMU and Lohia Institute of Lucknow, it includes GSVM Kanpur, SN Medical College Agra, LALRM Medical College, Meerut, MLB Medical College Jhansi, BRD Medical College Gorakhpur, MLN Medical College Prayagraj and UP Medical University Etawah, Government Institute of Medical Sciences Greater Noida, apart from medical colleges of Azamgarh, Ambedkarnagar, Kannauj, Jalaun, Saharanpur, Banda, Badaun, Ayodhya, Firozabad, Shahjahanpur.
